When using any social media, you may well wonder what could be coming up next for your use. By honing in on what is needed while using social media, especially Facebook, these types of facets become intriguing to all of us, especially if you are trying to improve any business interactions.
If you are always trying to improve your business, Facebook secret groups just might be what you are looking for. Creating and managing these types of interactions improves business and helps communication open up even more.
The reasoning behind these secret groups was to intimate conversations with family, friends, or business gatherings. These secret groups became perfect for these types of interactions and all different people got on board, including coaches and instructors!
Private spaces, for businesses, are a top priority because when you want to keep things private, you want a way to do it. With social media, that became a challenge and most businesses shied away from using Facebook. However, Google (G +) has created a system that lets people factor in these types of situation, resulting in the company giving some private space that is highly needed. Just being able to use these private spaces gives companies the capability of working with associates, schedule coordination, any type of marketing development needed, such as advertisement issues. It’s a great feature with the Google G + strategy and has helped numerous companies to accomplish the tasks at hand.
Facebook hopped on board as well and now offers three types of “Secret Groups.” The three that they offer are: secret, closed, and of course, public. With the secret option only people that you want will see your wall writing, pictures and comments. With the closed option, everyone can see the group, but only members can participate and make their posts known. Public is another option where everyone can see what is happening and are able to search and add posts. With this last option, it certainly is advisable for you to know what you are doing. I know many people thought they were just speaking directly to a certain group only to find out that they were speaking to the World Wide Web—a little embarrassing to say the least!
Even when using the secret group concept, you may wonder if it is secret enough! However, these groups are not indexed by Google and so privacy and protection are granted without a trace. Therefore, on Facebook the privacy issue is taken care of. You are free to do post with any friends, family, or business needs and it is kept private.
Sending any URL is also protected when using the privacy factor on Facebook. This keeps anyone seeing the group page too! One of our staff members tried it and sent a URL to another secret group and the other secret group didn’t even know.
Using the secret group privacy options shows you that there is a (little) locked icon on the page. This makes you aware that the privacy button is on. No one can see what is going on, unless someone is looking directly at it. You still have the option of receiving notification of any of your groups that you have in your Facebook groups. This way you can go directly to that group and post your comments.
Writing on the wall has become something that all of us enjoy, especially with the three types of secret group options and even businesses can enjoy their privacy and their social interactions at the same time.
